MICHAEL CASTRO 4AGE STREET COROLLA

The engine in this Corolla is standard except for the cylinder head modified to STREET FORCE spec. At the time of head fitment the engine received new rings and bearings, the cams were left standard and the ecu unmodified.

The car went to a dyno and with minor adjustments to ignition timing , the engine produced close to 21kw increase at the wheels.

The car was then taken to the drag strip and run 14.59 at 95 mph with no set up for drag racing

The 4AGE has now been replaced with a 3SGTE by MATTO racing and a STREET FORCE cylinder head fitted .

The car is still under development though it shows a lot of potential running 13.3 at 108mph with lots of wheel spin.
